Production Office Clerk

Position in organizational chart

  • Reports to the Production Manager

Activities

  • Provide support to the Production Manager, in the supervision and coordination of daily operations, related to the entire production process.
  • Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure smooth workflow, optimize processes, and achieve goals to meet customer requirements.
  • Implement and support strict quality control measures, throughout the production process, in line with industry standards.
  • Contribute to the optimization of production processes by identifying areas for improvement, implementing innovative strategies, and monitoring productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Liaise with other departments (R&D, logistics, quality control, quality assurance, purchasing, etc.) to facilitate alignment and coordination of production activities.
  • Support the development and implementation of safety protocols, promoting a culture of workplace safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in inventory management, including monitoring inventory levels, implementing rotation systems, and optimizing resource utilization to minimize waste.

Qualification

  • Master's degree in scientific disciplines (Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, CTF, Biology, etc.)

Years of experience in the role

  • Experience of at least 2 years

Technical skills

  • Knowledge of chromatographic systems (GC and HPLC).
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel)
  • Knowledge of integrated management systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV, SAP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of English language (minimum B2 level)
  • Shift management

  • Preparation of declarations of intent
  • Control of customs bills on sales invoices
  • Outstanding claims to customers
  • Documentary preparation and archiving of short-term credit facilities
  • Documentary preparation and filing of factoring assignments
  • Bank reconciliations on a weekly basis
  • Reconciliation and filing of quarterly bank statements
  • Filing of treasury cycle documents
  • Corporate credit card reporting
  • Cash accounting management
  • F-24 preparation

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field

Years of experience in the role

  • Prior experience of at least 3 years in business firms or modernly structured companies

Language skills

  •  Good knowledge of the English language (B2)

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and Outlook
